最近台灣因"洪案"的糾結而鬧得沸沸揚揚。對Current affairs 的意見/態度表態 or 情緒抒發時使用的英文大家會嗎?

(1) To take issue with 對~有意見; 不同意
e.g. Two of the members chose to take issue with the chairman on the question of voting rights.

(2) to gauge reaction 衡量反應
e.g. The government leaked the story to the press to gauge public reaction.

(3) a throwaway comment (n.) 順口而說的話 (hence should not be taken seriously)
e.g. I don't think the politician really meant to say he was leaving the party-it was just a throwaway comment.

(4) To take a firm stance 對~的立場堅定

(5) To excite speculation 造成謠言滿天飛
e.g. The incident has excited speculation that the couple may be about to divorce.

(6) To air a grievance 抱怨
e.g. Workers have aired their grievances to reporters about the new pay structure.

(7) A dissenting voice 反對的人/意見
e.g. When it came to the vote, there was only one dissenting voice.

(8) A vociferous opponent 大聲和公然反對的人士
e.g. Our local MP is a vociferous opponent of having a casino in our city.

(9) Passionate entreaty (通常是群體) 的懇求
e.g. Plans to extend the airport went ahead, despite passionate entreaties
